Our Personalized Services:

   -Comprehensive Chiropractic Examinations

The chiropractic examination includes spinal examination, as well as Chiropractic Orthopedic and neurological tests. A non-invasive computerized spinal examination (MyoVision surface electromyography) will be performed to measure and locate the areas of muscle tension associated with misaligned vertebrae in your spine.
Should the results of your examination indicate the need for radiographic pictures of your spine, the doctor is equipped to perform a complete chiropractic radiographic evaluation.

Massage Therapy

Our Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) is Dottie Davis she is a graduate of Southeastern School Of Neuromuscular Massage. She specializes in deep tissue massage.

-Wide Variety of Physiotherapy Treatments
At Robeson Family Chiropractic we offer a complete rehabilitation program. We start with basic stretch and resistance exercises and graduate with plate resistance machines. The plate machines are top of the line in Physiotherapy and include cervical rehab, low back and abdominal rehab, and multi-hip plate machines. Our program is written by Dr, Robeson and is specific for each patients needs. We focus on stretching overactive (tight) muscles and strengthening inhibited (weak) muscles, this is done to enhance posture, increase range of motion, and prevent spinal problems.

We have two Intersegmental Traction tables to lubricate the spinal joints and gently and effectively reestablishes normal range of motion to your spine. They also facilitates muscle relaxation to significantly reduce muscle spasms.

We also have two Flexion Distraction/ Spinal Decompression tables. Flexion-distraction technique has become the most widely used approach to treating symptomatic disc injuries involving back pain and the often-accompanying leg pain. Flexion-distraction involves the use of a specialized table that gently distracts or stretches the spine and which allows the chiropractor to isolate the area of disc involvement while slightly flexing the spine in a pumping rhythm. There is no pain involved in the treatment.
Theoretically, the tractioning or distraction of the disc combined with isolation and gentle pumping of the involved area allows the central area of the disc, the nucleus propulsus, to assume its central position in the disc. Flexion-distraction is thought to improve disc height.
These actions move the disc away from the nerve, reducing inflammation of the nerve root, and eventually the associated pain and inflammation into the leg.
Flexion-distraction is applied in a series of treatments combined with adjunctive physiotherapy, supplementation, and home instructions. Eventually, specific exercises for low back disc conditions are introduced. Patients are evaluated and monitored throughout the treatment program.

Another therapy we use is Interferential current therapy. Interferential current is a treatment to aid the relief of pain and the promotion of soft-tissue healing.
Tiny electrical impulses are induced into the tissues in the area of the pain. Where these waves intersect below the surface of the skin, the low-frequency stimulation induces the body to secrete endorphins, which are the body`s natural pain-killers.
Most patients find interferential therapy to be very beneficial and describe the treatment as being relaxing and having a `pins and needles` sensation.
Ligament sprains, muscle strains and spasms often respond well to interferential current therapy.

We also use ultrasound to promote soft-tissue healing. Ultrasound massages deep tissue using ultrasonic vibration.

Our most popular therapy is the Aquamassage
• The client remains clothed and dry for privacy and comfort with no post-session clean-up of oils or contaminated water.

• The spray bar travels forward and back, massaging the full length of the body or easily selected to concentrate on a specific area.

• The water jets simulate a fingertip massage from the center of the body to the sides of the body. The force can be adjusted to suit the sensitivity of the client and with a consistency that cannot be duplicated by manual massage or other massage devices.

• The pulsating water jets can be adjusted from a relaxing 2 cycles per second up to an invigorating 10 cycles per second. The pulsation can be varied independent of water pressure for maximum effect and client sensitivity.

• The water temperature can be adjusted from approximately 90°F to 104°F using the electronic thermostat.
